Honestly speaking, most drunk texts are similar. How? Most of them are related to the things we are afraid to say when we are sober. After all, drunk people always tell the truth, don’t they?

Whether you want to admit it or not, you have probably done it at least once!

Drunk texts are quite hilarious most of the time, but some of them can really hit you right in the feels.

When drunk, we aren’t in our mind, and texting someone surely isn’t a good idea.  But, usually, this is exactly what we do!  And very often, we wake up regretting every single word we wrote in our drunken state.

When we sober up in the morning and realize what we have done, reality hits us!  We do realize that texting that particular person wasn’t a good idea.  As a matter of fact, it was probably the worst thing to do!

  • “I love you.”

The drunk version of you probably keeps telling people how much you appreciate them and how much they mean to you. But, it`s not all fun and games when you send an I love you” text to the wrong person!  Saying someone you love them, and truly mean it, is a great thing. But, doing it in your drunken state isn’t the best and most romantic way to do it.

  • “I’ve had a crush on you for so long.”

This is probably some of the most common scenarios.  You`ve overdone it with alcohol and you summoned up the courage to let your crush know your feelings about them. It seems like a great idea at first. But, do you really a sloppy drunk text to be the thing that creates the first impression of you? There are two outcomes possible in such case. First, your crush finds this text cute, or it was a complete failure!

  •  “Do you know what?! You’re pissing me off!”

Under the influence of alcohol, most people express the emotional version of themselves. This is why sometimes you may get angry and text a person who pissed you off quite long ago and you don’t clearly remember the reason they annoyed you in the first place.  But, you do know they did something you piss you off, and the drunken version of yourself wants to let them know about it!

  • “From now on, I’m going to…”

In other words, you believe that you are able to do anything! And, you feel the urge to let everyone know about your plans. So, may end up stating your decisions via text message, typically sending it to the last person you should be texting.

  • “Can you come over?”

It`s 4 a.m., you`ve had a crazy night, and now you`re heading home.  The combination of your drunken state and the thought of no one at home makes you feel lonely. So, you choose to solve to the problem! How? By texting your ex to come over.  The problem is that the feeling of loneliness at such moments can lead to bad decisions later on.
